The Jury’s special prize recipient of the 2nd Beijing International Music Competition (2009), 17 years old Han Kim has already appeared as soloist with a number of orchestra since his debut on year 2009, playing Mozart clarinet concerto with Euro-Asian orchestra in Seoul, and collaborated with the Shanghai String Quartet (2010), Bennewitz Quartet (2010) and Ensemble DITTO (2012) as a chamber musician. Since his recital at the 2008 international clarinet festival in Japan, he was among the distinguished artists invited to perform numerous music festivals, such as Musikalischer Sommer in Ostfriesland (2009), DITTO festival (2012), Asian clarinet festival (2010), Korean Orchestra Festival (2013). Han is the youngest member of Kumho Asiana Soloists and he currently studies at Eton College, U.K on a Music scholarship.
